The Art Workshop is an award-winning art program that offers fine art instruction to public and private school as well studio art classes .
Students learn the fundamentals of drawing, painting ,and sculpting using various mediums and techniques.
Many Art Workshop students have gone onto win both local and national awards, and continue to further their study of art in college.

Art Classes for Kids , Teens , and Adults in Mukilteo,WA

Learn to draw , paint, and sculpt using various mediums and techniques at the Art Workshop with instructor Christine Awad Schmalz.

Instructor:

Ms. Schmalz received her formal art education from the prestigious New York School Of Visual Arts. She also studied at the highly respected Atlanta College of Art Now called the Savannah School of Art and Design.
Ms. Schmalz’s art career encompasses women and children clothing design, prop creation and copyright illustration work for the PBS television series” Barney and Friends” and the University Of Washington. Her paintings have been exhibited in  exhibitions in  in New York City, Los Angeles,  Dallas,and the Harrison a solo exhibit sponsored by Seattle Center in Seattle ,Washington.

Ms. Schmalz also serves on the Snohomish County Arts Commission as Art Commissioner for District 2 , the Mukilteo Arts Guild Board as co-founder and president and the Mukilteo Off leash Dog Park Tails and Trails Board as Vice President.

Ms. Schmalz founded the Art Workshop 1994 and has been offering fine art instruction to over 100 public and private schools in 2 states.

Many of Ms.Schmalz’s students have gone on to win both local and national awards, scholarships, and continue to further their study of art in college.
